With every registered account, Bands.tv creates a Band or User profile page to help you build your own communities. On Band Profile pages, Fans, Promoters, and Venues can learn more about the Band, the number of members, their home town, upcoming concerts, online videos, and other band specific sites like MySpace and Youtube sites. The same goes for Fans, Promoters, and Venues...they have the capabilities to tag artists they like, add friends to their friends list, and see their most recent posts.
Profiles give everyone a quick snapshot of who someone is, what they like, what they don't like, and other interesting information about themselves.

Events Calendar:
Trying to find is good Music Event Calendar is hard to come by. That is why at Bands.tv, we plan on cataloging all of our Musician's upcoming shows whether they are online or at a venue so fans can watch. As we build our online event calendar, our mission is to share it with the world...that is right, we are working on an open-source api to query our event calendar so it can be integrated on any platform for FREE. We don't believe in charging others to subscribe to event calendars like many other sites. The bigger the event calendar the bigger the reason to keep it open-source...Stay Tuned to our development of the first online FREE event music calendar.
Newsletters:
Ever try to create a music/concert newsletter for your fans or friends? Have any issues trying to do all of the necessary research, writing, formating and then email? Look no further, at Bands.tv we are working on a set of rich tools to allow Bands and Fans to create their own newsletter to share with their Friends.
